At the Sony presentation, Tekken 8 was announced and the gameplay with PlayStation 5 was shown

Bandai Namco announced Tekken 8, presenting the first trailer of the new part of fighting at the last presentation of State of Play.

The video showed a fragment of the battle between Jin Kazama and his father Kazuya Mishima in a storm with a giant tanker approaching the shore.

The scene was chosen for the debut screening not by chance: all the cards are not yet revealed, but confirm that the confrontation of the two heroes will be at the center of the new story.

The developers also emphasize that this is not a prerendered video, but real-time footage from the story mode recorded directly on PlayStation 5 at a speed of 60 FPS.

According to the authors, the shown was not created specifically for the trailer, but some effects, dialogues, as well as the camera are currently being refined and may change by the time the game is launched.

Screenshots:Tekken 8 will be released not only on PlayStation 5, but also on Xbox Series X|S and PC on Steam. The release date and other details are not yet disclosed.

The publisher only noted that the project is still under development, so fans will have to wait a little longer.
