Legal documentation has revealed the length of stay of the upcoming ARK II survival simulator in the Xbox Game Pass subscription.

According to a document filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Snail Games and Studio Wildcard have entered into an agreement with Microsoft stipulating that ARK II will be available in Game Pass for three years from the date of release.

Interestingly, the same document indicates a change in the agreement on the original ARK: Survival Evolved.

In June of this year, the developers agreed with Microsoft to keep the game in Game Pass forever. ARK II was announced in December at The Game Awards.

The sequel is being created with the participation of actor Vin Diesel, who will play the role of one of the central characters in the game, and should be released on PC and Xbox Series X|S in 2023.

The project will appear in Game Pass immediately upon release. A new trailer was unveiled this summer.
