Arkane Lyon's Deathloop shooter is now available on the Xbox Series X|S. The first pass-through videos have already begun to appear online to assess how the game looks and works on Microsoft consoles.

Gamersyde has released a gameplay from the beginning of the game, recorded on the Xbox Series X in three different modes of operation.

Quality mode (4K and 60 FPS with image priority) is displayed for up to 11 minutes, performance mode (4K and 60 FPS with frame rate priority) for 11 to 20 minutes, and beam tracing mode (4K and 30 FPS) for 20 minutes to the end.

A fourth mode is also available, targeting 120 frames per second.

In this case, the resolution is reduced to 1080p and vertical synchronization is disabled, so it is recommended to use a display that supports VRR to avoid screen breaks.

A gameplay video also appeared from Deathloop's introduction to the Xbox Series S with performance testing.

Only two modes are available on the Microsoft junior console: 1080p and 60 FPS with priority to frame rate or image quality.

According to the test,  in the first case, the game stably holds 60 FPS with a rare decrease by 1-2 frames, while in the second case, sometimes there are drawdowns by 5-10 frames, but failures occur infrequently and in general there are no noticeable performance problems.

In both modes, the resolution is dynamic scaled. Finally, IGN published a video with an extended end of the game that was added to all platforms in today's Goldenloop update along with other content.

Deathloop is also available today in PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass, PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium (Deluxe) subscriptions.
